1/ OUR STORY
Luna Pictures was founded in May 2025 with one clear purpose — to give emerging artists the chance to tell their stories, no matter their financial constraints.
We are a full-house production studio, offering everything from film production to visual effects (VFX) under one roof. Our team is a blend of passionate storytellers and technical artists who believe that great stories shouldn’t be limited by budget, but empowered by creativity.
Our visual effects division is world-class — some of our artists have contributed to major Netflix productions, including Sweet Home (2020) and Glitch (2022), among others. On the production side, our filmmakers and writers continue to push creative boundaries; members of our team were recognized among the Top 10 screenwriters in the Netflix Practical Series Workshop in Ho Chi Minh City.
How do we make it all work?
Luna Pictures operates on a hybrid model: our VFX studio is based in Vietnam, while production takes place right here in Sydney. This approach lets us maintain high production value at artist-friendly costs — ensuring every idea, big or small, has the chance to shine.
